Kaido House returns to its Tamiya collaboration with a second interpretation of The Hornet, this time giving the R34 Skyline GT-R a dramatically different look. V2 trades the previous treatment for a deep metallic red finish paired with colored carbon-fiber bodywork, gold wheels, and graphics inspired by Tamiya’s legendary Hornet R/C buggy.
 
Look closely and there are plenty of details tying the two worlds together, including the No. 7 graphics, Tamiya branding, “The HORNET” script, and gold/orange striping. The R34 itself gets Kaido House’s signature wide-body treatment, two-piece wheels with aluminum barrels, and an opening hood revealing a detailed RB26DETT engine.
 
It’s a particularly fun release because the collaboration connects two collecting hobbies with a lot of shared history: scale-model and R/C culture from Tamiya with modern premium diecast from Kaido House.
 
As with our other Kaido House releases, each car is sold factory sealed with a chance at receiving a chase.
