The Kaido Star V1 is a fully original Jun Imai design — not based on any existing OEM chassis — built to reflect the exaggerated street style seen in late-70s and early-80s Japanese kaido racer culture. This release runs the multi-piece Kaido House aero setup with the lengthened front splitter, boxy fender lines, and the tall twin-pipe takeyari exhaust out back. The hood opens to show a tuned twin-cam turbo inline-six, and the deep aluminum barrel wheels sit tucked tight under the widened arches. The purple and silver layout keeps the look bold but clean, with just enough graphic work to tie the panels together without turning into a full show-car livery.
 
This is the first version of the Kaido Star casting, making it a key release for collectors who track the development of the Kaido House original lineup. It stands out not just for the silhouette, but for how clearly it represents the culture it’s referencing — the stance, the pipes, the proportions, all intentional and recognizable to anyone who knows the scene.
